The Mauritian Shekel
- Genevieve Pitot
In 1940 thousands of Jews were trying to flee Nazi persecution in Europe. This is the little-known story of a group of 1,600 Jewish refugees who, having escaped from Nazi-occupied Europe, were refused entry into Palestine by the British in 1940 because they were considered illegal immigrants.
The One Percenters
- Jerrad Tyson
After seeing his fellow rookies live on a diet of $1 noodles, Tyson knew he had to pass on his vast knowledge of nutrition. He decided to write a book called The One Percenters, a template based on nutrition, hydration, exercise and sleep that the Western Sydney Wanderers goalkeeper has used to get him in the best physical and mental shape.
Grassland in Transition
- Carolyn Young & Sue McIntrye
In making this photography series Young collaborated with woodland ecologist McIntyre, and over a period of ten years documented native grasslands associated with eucalypt woodlands and their farmed descendants through landscape and still-life photographs.
